Its twenty-fifth anniversary was marked by the publication of Mrs. Spain's history, and by the part the Society played in arranging a traveling exhibition of handicrafts which, under the auspices of the American Federation of Arts, circulated from to Mr. The New England Historical Society exists to promote interest in New England history and tell the fascinating stories that are unique to our region.
